Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GoBeyondDutch website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access our services.
Our Services
GoBeyondDutch provides online Dutch language courses, including group courses, private lessons, exam preparation, course materials, and cultural education support. We may postpone or cancel a group. What happens then is explained under "If we postpone or cancel your group".
Enrollment and Payment
To enrol, you must give accurate information and keep your login private. You pay the full course price at checkout. Refunds follow the section "Cancellation, refunds and changes" below. A price change never affects a course you have already bought.
Cancellation, refunds and changes — group courses
Your 14-day right of withdrawal. You buy our courses online, so you can withdraw within 14 days of paying, without giving a reason, as long as your course has not started. You then get everything back. Your right of withdrawal ends when your course starts. If you enrol in a course that starts within 14 days, you ask us to start it within your withdrawal period, and your right of withdrawal ends at your first class. To withdraw, email info@gobeyonddutch.nl, or use the model withdrawal form below.
If you join a group that has already started, "your course starts" means the first class after you enrol.
Cancelling after those 14 days.

We count calendar days in Amsterdam time, from the day you tell us to the day of your first class. If you join a group that has already started, your first class is the first class after you pay.
Wrong level. Tell us after your first class. If the level doesn't fit, we move you to a group that does, at the same price. If no suitable group is running, we refund the classes you haven't taken.
Moving to another group. You can move to another group with the same price if it has a free place. To move to a group with a different price, we refund your payment in full and you enrol in the new group.
If we postpone or cancel your group. We may postpone the start of a group or cancel a group, for example when too few students enrol or a teacher becomes unavailable. We email you as soon as we know.
- Postponed start: you keep your place on the new dates. If the new dates don't work for you, you can cancel for a full refund, or move to another group at the same price if one has a free place.
- Cancelled group: you get a full refund. If you prefer, we move you to another group at the same price instead. We only move you if you say yes.
- If some classes had already taken place, we refund the classes that were not given.
Charged twice. If you were charged twice for the same course, we refund the extra payment in full.
How we refund. We refund within 14 days of your message (or of our cancellation), to the card or bank account you paid with. Card refunds usually show within 5–10 business days. We email you when the refund is made.
These rules do not limit any other rights you have under Dutch consumer law.

Cancellation — Private Lessons
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
Student Responsibilities
Students must attend lessons on time, complete homework, maintain respectful behavior, have necessary equipment, and not share course materials or account credentials without permission.
Intellectual Property
All course materials are property of GoBeyondDutch and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify materials without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
GoBeyondDutch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course.
Changes to Terms
We may change these Terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. A change applies only to purchases made after it; it never changes a course you have already bought.
