Shop for clothes (sizes, fits, colours), look for a room or house with an estate agent, describe home furnishings, and explain physical health complaints to a doctor (de huisarts).
Grammar you'll master
- Comparatives and superlatives (mooi, mooier, mooist)
- Demonstratives (deze, die, dit, dat) & object pronouns (mij, jou, hem…)
- Negation with niet and geen
- Spatial prepositions (in, op, naast…) & indefinite words (iets / niets)
- The present perfect tense (het perfectum) to talk about past events

WALK 1a - A1.3 next group is taught at A1.3 on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) scale used across Dutch language education. At this level you'll typically be able to handle basic phrases, simple questions, and everyday introductions. If you're unsure whether this is the right starting point, book a free intake session and we'll assess your level first.
WALK 1a - A1.3 next group runs live online via Zoom, meeting twice a week for 10 sessions of 60 minutes each. You'll need a stable internet connection, a working camera and microphone, and a quiet space — you can join from anywhere.
WALK 1a - A1.3 next group costs €125.00 for the full 10-session course. Contact us to discuss instalment options.
WALK 1a - A1.3 next group is a group course, so individual sessions aren't recorded to protect student privacy — but we share notes and materials after every class so you can catch up if you miss one. Let us know as early as possible if you expect to miss a session.
